What Customers Say About JD Skiles Trailers
"We have 2 JD Skiles hot-load trailers. One is a bumper hitch and the other is a fifth wheel hitch. We use them on our farms to tend our planter and sprayer. The ability to mix farm chemicals and fertilizer while waiting for the sprayer to empty has upped our acres per hour and insured that every load is properly mixed before it goes in the sprayer. Both trailers fit, finish and innovative design were impressive upon arrival. They have held up well and still look great after 4 years in the field. These trailers are rugged and dependable with no apparent rust, repairs or paint failure after hauling liquid fertilizer for 4 years. The best spray and fertilizer trailer on the market!" -Erich
"The JD Skiles trailer with pitstop system was hands down the best purchase we have made in several years for our farm. We can see immediate returns on our investment, and our only regret is not buying one sooner." -Justin, Sandy Rock Farms

(1750 Gooseneck Trailer)
"I want to take a moment and thank you for producing an excellent nurse trailer for our Ranch. We have now owned it for two seasons and it has met our needs without issues.
The attention to details such as the extra trailer attachment points at the rear and the high-quality welds presented throughout the trailer are greatly appreciated. Your help in modifying the trailer for a hydraulic driven pump was appreciated and allows us to get past the problem of long down time periods with gasoline driven pumps. The electric brakes are will matched to the trailer and allow us to move with a full load safely on the highway.
An all-around great product at a reasonable price. Well worth the trip to Atwood.
Thanks to you and all of the team for this great trailer." -David and Sue

What’s the benefits to cone bottom tanks vs leg tanks on nurse trailers?
Nurse trailers come with either cone bottom tanks or leg tanks. The benefit of cone bottom tanks is their design to provide an easy and complete drain of the liquid being stored, no matter the slope of the trailer; making cone bottoms a very popular choice. Furthermore, the round and compact design of cone bottom tanks reduces the amount of liquid sloshing when starting and stopping, making them drive very smooth. Also, they are easier to clean because of the smooth sides. One downside is that the tank is wider, so it is harder to see the lights on a pickup.
Leg tanks provide the benefit of a narrower design when using smaller tanks. Larger leg tanks provide solid stability and some leg tanks come with a more complete drain design.
