JD Skiles Is Your Trusted Partner In Fertilization Equipment
In 1984 JD Skiles Company started from the garage of Jerry and Jan Skiles. From small beginnings to manufacturing and producing innovative agriculture fertilizer equipment, JD Skiles has built a quality brand rooted in integrity and hard work.
In 1991 Skiles Industries was established to manufacture the Portable Double Cone Storage Trailer, which held a semi load of liquid fertilizer. This trailer was invented by Jerry and continues to be a corner stone product for the farming community. Skiles Industries has become an industry leader manufacturing innovative liquid trailers to meet customer needs.
In 2009 JD Skiles introduced the Pit Stop Chemical Transfer System, designed to meter and transfer chemical without handling them. In 2010 Scottsbluff Industries opened up in Scottsbluff, NE to meet the continuing growth and product innovation. Scottsbluff Industries manufactures the Pit Stop Chemical Transfer System as well as sprayer trailers, tender trailers, and various other products.

Meet the JD Skiles Pit Crew
Sales
Frank Miller is an original Atwood native and has been with JD Skiles for over 10 years. He is the visionary for our company, finding new ways to fulfill our customers needs. He takes on the role of not only General Manager of our company but is also an active part of our Sales Team, customizing and quoting products to meet our customers requests.
Justin Marintzer has been with JD Skiles since 2009. Justin has a solid farming background with extensive knowledge of farm machinery. He can assist with trouble shooting liquid systems as well as helping you decide what trailer is best for your needs.
Lee Skiles has been a part of JD Skiles since the birth of our company and after taking a few years off to pursue other business interests, he comes back to us as part of our Sales Team. It's like he never left, his knowledge of the trailers and products is still spot on! Look for him on the road soon as well, he is our new portable salesperson, traveling to meet our customers face-to-face.
Office Support
Misty Samson heads up our business office here in Atwood. She has over 20 years of accounting experience and brought all that knowledge with her when she joined JD Skiles in 2012. As the office manager here, she handles Accounts Payable, and all financial aspects of JD Skiles and entities. We couldn't do it without her!
Parts & Service
William Pedersen is our go to guy for all your parts needs! He also specializes in custom ATV, UTV, and other Spot Sprayers. He handles all our warranties, and can get you the right part to best suit your needs. He has nearly 20 years of knowledge on all our parts and services, and can probably recite all our parts from memory!
Melinda Basnett started with JD Skiles in assisting in many traits of the business. She has in the past been a big part of our advertising and publishing needs. She currently handles Accounts Receivable and customer service.
Charles Solko became part of our team in 2012. He helps at the parts counter assisting our customers as well as fulfilling orders to get them shipped out accurately and on time!
Plumbing Shop Crew
Our Plumbing Shop Crew will get you set up to transfer chemicals, fertilizer, etc. from one field to another. They have the know how to get things to work and flow from trailer to spray rig. They can also plumb you up to haul and transfer any fertilizer, chemical, or water.
Welding Shop Crew
This is our manufacturing crew! This group of men modify and build your trailers to your specifications. They take the time to measure, measure (always good to measure twice, right?), cut, weld, clean, and paint those great looking trailers that you haul to your field.
Scottsbluff Crew
Located in Scottsbluff Nebraska, this group oversees and manufactures the Pit Stop volumetric system, tender, and sprayer trailers.
